I just watched Dirt! The Movie, and afterward I said to my husband, “This movie is my blog.” The movie has a twofold message: 1. Our lack of respect for dirt affects our ability to feed ourselves, and our health, and our quality of life. 2. It’s not that hard to restore dirt to what it’s supposed to be—a living system.
Watch it. It’s only an hour of your time. You can manage it.
And the dirt creatures are cute. If they don’t do it for you, try keeping track of how many different backgrounds are used for Wangari Maathai’s appearances.
